How to store perfume

Keep bottles away from sunlight, heat and unstable conditions.

How to store perfumeSOUQ SMELL JOURNAL

Displaying a perfume bottle can be attractive, but a sunny windowsill is not a good storage spot. A cool, dry cupboard away from heat and temperature swings may be a better choice. Close the bottle after use and follow the manufacturer's packaging instructions first.

Do not choose a bathroom or car without considering its changing conditions. A refrigerator is not automatically necessary or best for every perfume either. If you notice changes in smell or appearance, check the product and packaging guidance. The products below illustrate different bottles to care for; they are not being presented as more resistant to poor storage.

How to explore this edit

The recommendations below offer a comparison rather than one ranking. Open a candidate, read its notes in your chosen language and test the direction that interests you on skin. Sharing a note does not mean two perfumes smell the same.
