Telling different perfume versions apartSOUQ SMELL JOURNAL

Products in one range may offer different compositions when labelled EDT, EDP, Intense or another variation. A special bottle design, however, does not automatically mean a new formula. Check the brand's full product name and description to distinguish the two situations.

When replacing an old favourite, do not rely only on packaging colour or a shortened name. Record size and concentration too. The six catalogue examples below should be read with their precise version information; they are not claimed to be substitutes or identical formulas. For gifts especially, a bottle photo and exact name help reduce mistakes among similar-looking product names.

How to explore this edit

The recommendations below offer a comparison rather than one ranking. Open a candidate, read its notes in your chosen language and test the direction that interests you on skin. Sharing a note does not mean two perfumes smell the same.
