Which perfume should you wear in each season?SOUQ SMELL JOURNAL

Citrus in summer, flowers in spring and amber in winter can be a useful starting point, but they are not universal rules. Temperature, indoor surroundings, application and personal taste all matter. An air-conditioned office and an outdoor celebration in sunshine create very different settings for the same perfume.

On warmer days you might compare citrus, green or aquatic impressions; on cooler days, woody, spicy and vanilla directions may appeal. A richer favourite can still work in summer with more restrained application. Leaving its bottle in a hot car, however, is a storage issue rather than a seasonal preference. Treat the six fragrances below as discovery points for different conditions, not as a compulsory calendar. What feels comfortable on your skin and in your surroundings should guide the final decision.

How to explore this edit

The recommendations below offer a comparison rather than one ranking. Open a candidate, read its notes in your chosen language and test the direction that interests you on skin. Sharing a note does not mean two perfumes smell the same.
